Delicate floral and white spring blossom notes draw you into the glass where the
palate delivers such clearly defined freshness, layered with zippy minerals,
leading to an intense spicy finish. This is very intriguing.

Spicy oily notes on the nose leading to a ripe & rich palate full of wonderful
spiced fruits with a well-rounded structure that’s finishes with great purity
and length.

King Coel Red 2004
This has an appealing deep red cherry
hue with inviting aromas of summer fruits. The palate is well-balanced and
rounded with an evident soft grip from the tannins which mingle with the
textured red fruits.
FOURTH PRIZE
Shawsgate Dry Muller-Thurgau 2005
The nose whilst not intense offers a mix of floral hints with soft peach and
apricot notes. The palate is clean and fresh with zesty undercurrent to the soft
white fruits, which finish with a dry cut.
